The Cuba Policy Presidential Candidate Scorecard presented
below on the Republican and Democratic presidential candidates is an initiative
of the Latin America Working Group (LAWG), a 501c4 organization that works
to encourage a U.S. policy towards Cuba that promotes engagement with
the island and the freedom of Americans to travel to and trade with Cuba.
The scorecard was created by combining candidates’ public comments,
statements and voting records. For a detailed description of candidates’
stances, please refer to the Candidate Fact Sheets. For
more information about the scorecard contact: Mavis Anderson, LAWG, (202)
